WEST HIGH YIELD COMPLETES FINAL TRANCHE OF PRIVATE

PLACEMENT

CALGARY, ALBERTA – June 20, 2017 . West High Yield (W.H.Y.) Resources Ltd.

(the "Company") announces that it has completed the third and final tranche of its

previously announced non-brokered private placement of units (each, a " Unit"). T he

Company issued 430,000 Units at a price of $0.30 per Unit for gross proceeds of

$129,000 under the third tranche of the private placement. In aggregate, t he Company

issued 1,600,000 Units at a price of $0.30 per Unit for gross proceeds of $480,000. Each

Unit consists of one common share in the capital of the Company (a "Common Share")

and one-third of one common share purchase warrant (a "Warrant"). Each whole Warrant

entitles the holder to purchase one additional Common Share at an exercise price of $0.45

for a period of one year from the date of issuance of the Warrant. All of the securities

issued under the private placement are subject to a four month resale restriction . The

private placement is subject to receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals including

final approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.

The net proceeds of the private placement will be used for general corporate purposes,

environmental study and mine plan development as required by the Environmental

Assessment Certification and Mine Permit application processes.
