CURRIE ROSE STRENGTHENS BOARD BY ADDING INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR

The Company is pleased to announce that it has appointed Stephen Coates to the board of

directors, effective immediately and subject to regulatory approvals.

Mr. Coates is founder and Principal of Grove Capital Group Ltd., a merchant banking group

specializing in the incubation and development of new businesses in Canada and abroad. Mr.

Coates has over 20 years’ experience in the small-cap and natural resources sectors in the

Americas and Africa.

Mr. Coates will join the Company’s Audit Committee and, through his experience in financial

structuring, business development and capital markets finance, will be a welcome addition to the

Company’s Board of Directors
