Cavan Announces Name Change to Vertical Exploration Inc.

January 8, 2018 , VANCOUVER, BC - Cavan Ventures Inc. (TSX-V: CVN) announces it

intends to change its name to "Vertical Exploration Inc." effective on January 10, 2018.

Effective on January 10, 2018, the Company’s common shares will trade on the TSX Venture

Exchange under the new ticker symbol "VERT".

The Company's mission is to identify, acquire, and advance high potential mining prospects

located in North America for the benefit of its stakeholders. The Company’s St-Onge

Wollastonite property is located in the Lac-Saint-Jean area in the Province of Quebec. For more
