Aguila Announces the Sudden Passing of President and CEO John Huguet

AGUILA ANNOUNCES THE SUDDEN PASSING OF PRESIDENT AND CEO JOHN HUGUET

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA – FEBRUARY 6TH 2017: A guila American Gold Limited (“A guila” or the

“Company”) (TSX-V: AGL) Mr. Nick DeMare CFO and Corporate Secretary regrets to announce the sudden

passing of Mr. John Huguet, President and CEO of the Company.

Said Mr. DeMare “The news of the sudden passing of Mr. Huguet has been a great shock to all of us. Having

had the pleasure of knowing and working with John for many years , it is difficult to have to inform

shareholders of this loss. John was a gentleman and worked hard to advance the development of the

Company’s properties in Peru. The Board wishes to convey our sincerest and heartfelt condolences to

John’s wife, children, family and friends. John will be missed by all.”

At this time Mr. DeMare has taken on position of interim CEO of the Company .
