ARCTIC HUNTER ANNOUNCES AND MOURNS THE DEATH OF DIRECTOR, EDWARD
“TED” BURYLO

VANCOUVER, B.C. – Arct ic Hunter Energy Inc. (TSX-V: AHU) (“ Arctic Hunter ” or the
“Company”) announces with great sadness the death of Edward “Ted, Teddy” Burylo who passed away
peacefully in his hospital bed at the UBC St. John Hospital Hospice Care facility. Mr. Burylo had served
as a director to the Company, since being listed in 2010.
Tim Coupland, President & Chief Executive Officer of the Company, stated, “We are deeply saddened
to announce the passing of our dear friend and director, Ted Burylo. Ted was born on August 8, 1940 in
Winnipeg, Manitoba and was a long time business asso ciate, mentor, valued colleague and was known
fondly in the industry as a true gentleman, elder st atesman and straight shooter, for those who knew and
worked with him. I have always considered Ted as a very unique and special person, one of a kind, and
was honored to have had the privilege of working with him at the Board level at Arctic Hunter. Ted’s
wealth of industry knowledge, personal contacts and market experience, combined with his sound
judgment, sense of humor, were among his many tr emendous assets, to those who knew him and to the
Company. Ted really loved people, loved deal making and getting to know the city’s many deal makers,
and there wasn’t a door Ted couldn’t walk through with his friendly and contagious smile. Ted will be
greatly missed by myself, the Company and all those who had the opportunity and good fortune, to work
with him. We would like to offer our deepest and heartfelt condolences to his many close friends and his
family members.” A celebration of life will be he ld in Ted’s honor, at Bodega, 1014 Main Street, on
Friday October 27, 2017 between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
