Taranis Completes LiDar Survey at Thor
Estes Park, Colorado, July 31, 2019 – Taranis Resources Inc. (“Taranis” or the “Company ”)
[TSX.V: TRO, OTCQB: TNREF] is pleased to release an update on progress at its 100% owned
Thor project.
Aero Geometrics Limited has completed a LiDAR survey over the Thor property that will
enhance the existing topographic and aerial imagery of the project. This survey is designed to
provide better elevation data that will be used to update the existing NI 43 -101 Resource at Thor
and serve as a base map for future mining activity.
The Company is also undertaking detailed geological mapping of the rocks around the deposit in
order to gain better understanding of the many folds, faults and other features that have a bearing
on the Thor deposit. One of the initial areas examined in 2019 focused on a tabular quartz zone
upwards of 3 m thick on the north end of the deposit that plunges under Thor’s Ridge, that
contains tetrahedrite, gold and other base metals. This zone is located 60 m in the hanging -wall
of the Blue Bell Zone, and has the same geometry and a ppearance as the main Thor deposit.
Taranis geologists believe this is the southern extension of a much larger zone that currently lies
under Thor’s Ridge, and is currently being permitted to drill.
