Teck Files Technical Report for Quebrada Blanca Phase 2 Project

Vancouver, B.C. – Teck Resources Limited (“Teck”), (TCK.A and TCK.B, NYSE: TCK) announced today that it has filed a technical report prepared under National Instrument 43-101 regarding its Quebrada Blanca Phase 2 Project, relating to the hypogene resource at Teck’s Quebrada Blanca project located in Chile. The technical report is being filed in support of the information regarding the Quebrada Blanca Phase 2 Project included in Teck’s April 24, 2012 press release.
