SILVERCORP PROVIDES SHARE BUYBACK PROGRAM UPDATE

VANCOUVER, British Columbia – March 1, 2018 – Silvercorp Metals Inc. (“Silvercorp” or the

“Company”) announces that to date it has acquired 1,717,100 of its common shares at an

average price paid per common share of CDN $3.07 through the facilities of the TSX, pursuant to

its normal course issuer bid announced November 23 , 2017 (“the Buyback Program”). All

common shares acquired in the Buyback Program will be cancelled.
