July 3, 2018 – Vancouver, British Columbia - The Board of Directors of Hybrid Minerals Inc. (TSX-V: HZ)

(Frankfurt:HM4) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ross Phillips as CEO and to the board of

directors Hybrid Minerals Inc..

Hybrid Minerals Inc. is a Canadian-based exploration company focused on the acquisition and

development of production grade cobalt deposits in an ethical, responsible, and transparent manner in

North America. Hybrid Minerals Inc. holds a 100% stake in the CAS Project located in the Idaho Cobalt

Belt.

Mr. Phillips has 16 years of experience in the resource and energy sectors. From 2011 until June 2018

Mr. Phillips held various senior positions with Potash Ridge Corporation, including C hief Operating Officer

and Chief Financial Officer. While there, he led the development of the Blawn Mountain Project in Utah

from early stage exploration through to its most recent prefeasibility stud y, including obtaining all major

permits for the project and identifying over 40 years of mineral reserves as well as l eading several

successful rounds of funding.

Mr. Phillips served as a Director of First Cobalt Corporation (TSX-V:FCC) from early 2017 until June

2018, including as chairman until October 2017. During this time First Cobalt successfully built a portfolio

of North American cobalt assets, creating significant value for FCC shareholders.

Previously, Mr. Phillips was Senior Manager, Financial Analytics and later Director of Business

Development at Capital Power Corporation, one of Canada's largest power generation companies. Prior

to that time, from 2003 to 2009, Mr. Phillips held various senior roles at Sherritt International Corporation,

a diversified resource company that produces nickel, cobalt, thermal coal, oil and electricity.

Mr. Phillips has a Master of Arts in Resource Economics and a Master of Business Administration from

the University of Alberta and is a CFA Charterholder and CPA, CMA.
