Stem 7 Announces Name Change to South Star Mining Corp.

December 21, 2017 – Vancouver, B.C. - Stem 7 Capital Inc. (“Stem 7” or the “Company”) (TSXV:

STS.H) is pleased to announce that it has changed its corporate name to South Star Mining Corp.

effective December 21, 2017. Effective at the opening of trading on December 22, 2017, the common

shares of the Company will commence trading on the NEX Board of the TSX Venture Exchange under

the new name.

Shareholders holding Stem 7 share certificates can request a replacement certificate with the new

Company name, but new certificates are not required and will not be automatically issued. There will be

no consolidation of capital in connection with the change of name.
