Standard Lithium Announces IP Assignment Agreement
STANDARD LITHIUM ANNOUNCES IP ASSIGNMENT AGREEMENT
November 30, 2018 – Vancouver, BC – Standard Lithium Ltd.(“Standard Lithium” or the
“Company”) (TSXV: SLL) (OTCQX: STLHF) (FRA: S5L), announces that it has entered into a
share purchase agreement with Craig Johnstone Brown to acquire all of the issued share capital
of 2661881 Ontario Limited (“2661881”), a company owned by Brown, which holds the
intellectual property rights to a process for the selective extraction of lithium from brine
solutions.
As consideration for the transaction, the Company will complete a series of cash payments and
share issuances to Brown totaling C$1,050,000 and 1,000,000 common shares. All cash
payments and share issuances are immediately due and payable in the event a final decision is
made by the Company to proceed with the commercial development of the intellectual property
owned by 2661881. In the event the Company does not make any required payments or share
issuances, Brown has the right to re-acquire all of the issued share capital of 2661881, at which
point the Company’s obligations to make further payments will cease. Completion of the
transaction remains subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
