January 26, 2012: Vancouver, BC - Strike Gold Corp. (TSX-V: SRK) (the “Company”) announces that the TSX Venture Exchange has approved the Company’s application to change the name of the Company to “Strike Graphite Corp.”. Accordingly, effective at the opening of trading on Thursday, January 26, 2012, the Company’s name will be “Strike Graphite Corp.” and the Company’s shares will continue to trade under the stock symbol “SRK”. The Company’s new CUSIP number will be 86332M109.
