CANEX PROVIDES CORPORATE UPDATE

CANEX ENERGY CORP. (" Canex" or the “Company") (TSX Venture: CSC) – Mr. Sherman Dahl ,

President and CEO, is pleased to provide the following corporate update.

The Company has reached an agreement in principle, subject to final ization of a letter of intent , for an

acquisition of a private Canadian corporation which, once completed, will result in a change of business,

a change of name, and a change of control of the Company. In conjunction with this acquisition the

Company proposes to complete a private placement to raise necessary funding for this acquisition. The

private corporation is involved in the medical cannabis business in regards to data base management and

assistance to patients within the medical marijuana program.

The Company will issue a more detailed news release as this transaction progresses.
