CANEX APPOINTS CRAIG SCHNEIDER TO THE BOARD

CANEX ENERGY CORP. (" Canex" or the “Company") (TSX Venture: CSC) – Mr. Sherman Dahl,

President and CEO, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Craig Schneider. Mr. Dahl stated

“Craig is an extremely capable capital markets professional who will be a tremendous asset to our

Mr. Schneider has over 25 years of extensive experience in c apital market financing, business

development and strategic planning with public companies in technology, biotechnology and the resource

sector. He was a co-founder of Magnum Uranium, a TSX.V company which was purchased by TSX listed

Energy Fuels (TSX: EFR). Mr. Schneider is also a founder of Corex Gold Corp, InMed Pharmaceuticals,

Standard Graphite and has been instrumental in building these companies to their current stages of

development.
