Skeena Closes Strategic Investment from Barrick

Vancouver, BC (December 22, 2017) Skeena Resources Limited (TSX.V: SKE) (“Skeena” or the

“Company”) is pleased to announce that it has closed the strategic investment financing announced

on December 18, 2017 with Barrick Gold Corporation.

Skeena collected gross proceeds of C$1,000,000 from the sale of 1,250,000 flow through common

shares at a price of $0. 80 per share . Barrick Gold Corporation will be the end purchaser of the

shares. The net proceeds of the financin g will be used to incur Canadian exploration expenses . All

the securities issued under this financing will be subject to a hold period of four months and one day

from the closing date of the offering.
