SouthGobi Resources to announce fourth quarter and

full year 2016 financial results on March 31, 2017

HONG KONG – SouthGobi Reso urces Ltd. ( TSX: SGQ, HK: 1878 ) (the “ Company”)

announces that the board of directors (the “Board”) of the Company will meet on Friday, March

31, 2017 to consider and approve the fourth quarter and full year 2016 financial results of the

Company and its subsidiaries. These financial results will be released on March 31, 2017.
