Kermode Commences Surveying & Sampling of Green Monster Silver Mine, Nevada

Victoria, British Columbia - (February 15, 2022) - Kermode Resources Ltd (TSXV: KLM)

("Kermode" or the "Company") reports ongoing work as due diligence under the letter of intent

with Gold Range LLC for the high-grade silver project in Nevada called the Rye Patch Project

(“Project”). Results are pending for initial samples collected in underground and surface at the

Green Monster, Shomaker and another unnamed mine roughly ½ mile north northeast of the

Green Mine here loosely termed the “North Mine”. Samples are being analyzed for gold, silver,

lead, antimony and other elements at Paragon Geochemical in Sparks, Nevada.

Green Antimony Mine:

The accessible 4990 level and immediate surface area of the Green antimony mine was scanned

with LiDAR and three (3) channels samples ranging from 0.8 to 2.8 metres in length were

collected of accessible exposures of visibly mineralized structures.

Sample

#

Length

(m) Description (Green Mine 4990 Level)

4990-1 2.8

Channel sample, right rib, diagonally from upper left to lower right

diagonally across intersection zone of main NE structure with NW cross

fault. Mostly massive gossanous FeOx, jamsonite & bindhemite, but large

remnant patch of silver-to-steel-grey sulphides (Owyheeite or Boulangerite?).

Streaks of white kaolinitic clay may be altered gabbro.

4990-2 0.8

Channel in face of “dog hole” in left rib, perpendicular to cross fault of 4990-

1 trends AZ 330, -80E. Abundant FeOX and common remnant sulphides

(Owyheeite / boulangerite).

4990-3 2.7

Horizontal channel sample in lower left rib, across intersection of main NE

vein and cross fault of 4990-2.

Vein material mostly gossanous FeOx +/- Owyheeite / boulangerite with

common brecciated quart. White kaolinitc clay appears to be intensly altered

gabbro with common veinlets of near optical grade gypsum. Rare faint

greenish mineral probably mariposite / fuchsite variety of muscovite.

Images of the channel samples and locations on a plan view of the Green Mine generated by the

LiDAR scans are provided below.

Shomaker Mine:

Four (4) underground channel samples were collected from the Shomaker decline and two

samples, R760 and R762 were collected from the surface near the Shomaker mine.

Sample

#

Length

(m) Description (Shomaker Mine)

S-01 1.0

Channel sample perpendicular to "frothy" quartz with abundant gossanous

FeOx, common remnant Owyheeite in small dog hole in upper right rib.

S-02 0.3

Channel sample in upper left rib, perpendicular to flat-lying vein composed

entirely of oxide (jamsonite / bindhemite) psuedo morphs of long acular

acicular crystals resembling stibnite (probably owyheeite).

S-03 0.5

Channel sample lower right rib, perpendicular to vein with abundant FeOx,

jamsonite, bindhemite & fractured quartz in second low angle vein.

S-04 0.6

Channel sample, lower right rib in first dog hole below collar and above S-01,

structure trends AZ15, -20 E. Vein is quartz breccia with abundant gossanous

FeOx. Solution cavities in quartz appear to be after bladed calcite.

The Shomaker decline follows a vein from surface for approximately 12 metres down dip, at

which point the decline flattens and the first vein is seen to disappear into the sill of the decline.

Samples S-01, S-02 and S-03 as well as sample R-762 are of this first vein. Shortly after where

the decline flattens, it intersects a second vein structurally above the first and parallel with it.

The decline follows this second vein until it disappears into the sill at the present face. Sample S-

03 is taken from this second vein near the face and provides the first indication of multiple

parallel veins seen underground at either of the Shomaker or Green mines.

North Mine Sampling:

Samples R739, R740, R741-1 are from mineralized structures with abundant gossanous iron

oxide, bindhemite and jamsonite (antimony oxide minerals) in and near the North Mine.

Observed strike of these structures indicates the presence of at least three separate veins with

visually similar mineralization. The mineralization at the North Mine, is similar in hand sample

to that at the Green and Shomaker Mines, however the North Mine does not appear to be a strike

extension of the vein system at the Green and Shomaker Mines.

Surface Sampling:

Additional surface samples were collected in the area surrounding the Green and Shomaker

mines.

Sample

#

Length

(m) Easting Northing Description (At surface)

R739 2.2 383977 4433317

Channel sample in backhoe pit, north side of road cut to

decline. Structure approx. AZ 100 -46S.

Brecciated quartz and intensely clay altered gabbro

fragments in matrix of gossanous iron oxides probably

jamsonite and bindhemite.

R740 2.0 383956 4433304

Horizontal channel sample across sub-vertical to high

angle irregular structure trending approx. AZ 165.

Abundant semi-massive gossanous FeOx with common

clots of irregular quartz that do not appear to be

brecciated, but look more like open-space-filling in pre-

existing breccia. Common clots of bindhemite and

jamsonite.

R741-1 1.1

Channel sample of crushed quartz-calcite vein with

abundant gossanous FeOx, in main decline at bottom of

raise to sublevel above.

Vein contact is very irregular: HW AZ 330 -16 NE, FW

AZ 303 -46 NE. Irregular fracture fillings of FeOXin FW

& HW. Host rock is intensely altered gabbro. Oxides

contain abundant jamsonite and bindhemite.

R742 383756 4432667

Extremely heavy, dense FeOx, probably with abundant

Bindhemite / jamsonite. Minor brecciated quartz as

included fragments.

R760 0.6 383686 4432641 Channel perpendicular to NE trending structure -45E.

Depending on real attitude, vein may be 6 to 8 feet thick.

Other nearby subcrop confirms potential for a large vein.

R762 NA 383705 4432596

Rock chip of 18-24" wide zone of sulphide

mineralization left on side of Shomaker Gloryhole at top

of Shomaker decline. Common quartz with abundant to

dominant sulphides (Owyheeite?) and minor oxides on

fractures.

Sample R742 is taken perpendicular to a mineralized outcrop in a roadbed that was recently

exposed by winter storms that is approximately 30 metres or more structurally below any known

exploration or development in the Green Mine. Sample R760 tests outcropping minerlization 30

to 40 meters structurally below the veins developed in the Shomaker Mine with a similar attitude

to that in R742 but approximately 50 metres to the southwest and opposite the Shomaker mine

and again appears to indicate potential for a major footwall vein structure.

Discussion of Green and Shomaker Mines:

It is possible that the veins mined historically are conjugate to an as yet undiscovered main

“footwall” vein that controls the anomalously linear ravine northwest of the Green and Shomaker

Mines. This interpretation indicates an exploration target with a width of 40-50 metres and a

strike length of greater than 300 metres within a larger linear zone of clay alteration and iron

staining evident for more than 800 meters along strike on the Property All observed mineralized

structures in the Green and Shomaker Mines dip at a shallow angles to the southeast, essentially

“dip slope” and roughly parallel to the present surface. The intense surface bleaching and

discoloration that extends through the hills to the southeast of the Green and Shomaker mines is

interpreted be associated with hangingwall alteration associated with a shallow dip slope system.

Discussion of North Mine:

Mineralization in the vicinity of the North Mine occurs in structures with widely differing

attitudes indicating potential for multiple unexplored structural intersections which could

develop high-grade mineralization.

The Rye Patch Project:

As in the press release dated December 3rd, 2021, the Company has a letter of intent with Gold

Range LLC for the Rye Patch Project, which includes the Alpha Patent and the WS claims.
