Boss Power Provides Update from AGM
Vancouver, B.C. - Wednesday, July 13th, 2011: Boss Power Corp. (TSX.V: BPU) is pleased to announce that the Company's Annual General Meeting was held at the company's offices in Vancouver on June 30th, 2011. The number of directors, appointment of auditors and the company’s stock option plan were approved as proposed by management.
Re-elected to the Board of Directors were: Randall S. Rogers, Ronald K. Netolitzky, John H. Bowles, Douglas B. Brooks and Anthony Beruschi. Former Boss Power Corp. CEO and Director Dr. David Stone did not stand for re-election this year.
President and CEO Randy Rogers noted “the Board wishes to thank Dr. Stone for his exemplary service both as an officer and as a director or Boss Power Corp. David was instrumental in putting forward our initial exploration and development proposals for the Blizzard Uranium Project and had advanced our planning and due diligence to a significant extent up to the point where the Province of British Columbia imposed an Uranium/Thorium Reserve and improperly refused to consider our requests for exploration permits.”
Trial in the lawsuit which alleges expropriation and misfeasance in public office against the Province of British Columbia by Boss Power Corp. is scheduled to be heard in British Columbia Supreme Court for 25 days commencing October 3rd, 2011.
