Rise Gold Corp. (CSE: RISE)

") is pleased to announce that its shareholders have approved an

increase of the Corporation's authorized capital, from 40,000,000 shares of common stock to

400,000,000 shares of common stock. Approximately 98% of the votes cast at the meeting were in

favour of the motion. The resolution required an affirmative vote by "a majority of the voting power" being

over 50% of the Corporation's issued and outstanding shares.
