NEWS RELEASE – FINAL FOR DISTRIBUTION

Rock Tech Starts Drilling for 2010 to 2011 Georgia Lake Lithium Project Exploration Work

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, December 9, 2010 – Rock Tech Lithium Inc. (TSX-Venture: RCK; Frankfurt: RJIA) (the “Company” or “Rock Tech”) is pleased to announce that the first 4,000 metres of planned drilling of the Company’s 2010-2011 exploration program at its Georgia Lake lithium and rare metals project in northwestern Ontario has commenced.

As well, Rock Tech has awarded the environmental baseline studies contract to Trow Engineering and Environmental Consulting, a multidisciplinary global consulting company. Trow Engineering’s Thunder Bay office conducted the first round of field investigations consisting of the collection of surface water samples, field water quality observations, and the collection of other relevant ecological data from upstream and downstream claim areas. This data along with several other rounds of similar studies will be used to facilitate future development work on the Company’s Georgia Lake project.

As reported in the news release dated October 28, 2010, Caracle Creek International Consulting Inc. (CCIC) was engaged to carry out 3-dimensional modeling, NI 43-101 resource estimation and other geological work on the project. CCIC is presently developing the 3-dimensional model based on the historical exploration data and this model will continuously be updated as the results of the current drill program become available.

Eunho Lee, Company President and CEO, commented, “the launch of our drill program and completion of the first round of the environmental baseline study is a significant step towards the development of the Georgia Lake lithium and rare metals project. This marks a very important step in our plans to confirm and expand the historic lithium resource at Georgia Lake.”
