Puma Exploration closes a first tranche of Private Placement for $500,000

Rimouski, December 08 th , 2017 – Puma Exploration Inc. (the “Company” or “Puma) is pleased to

announce the closing of a non-brokered private plac ement financing of flow-through units with qualifie d

investors, employees and consultants. The Company i ssued 5,000,000 units at an issue price of $0.10 pe r

flow-through units for gross proceeds of $500,000. The flow-through units comprise one flow-through

common share without any warrant.

In connection with this Private Placement, the Comp any has paid cash finder's fees in an amount of $40 ,000

and issued 400,000 finder's warrants will entitle holder to acquire one additional common share of Puma at a

price of $0.10 for 24 months. All securities issued to purchaser and finder under the Offering are subject to a

four-month hold period from the date of issuance of the securities, pursuant to applicable securities

legislation and the policies of the TSX Venture Exc hange. The placement has received the conditional

approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.

The proceeds of the Offerings will be used for the exploration and development of Puma's Murray Brook

property in New Brunswick where a trenching program is underway on prospective new areas on both sides

of the Murray Brook Deposit. The trenching operatio n is aimed at defining targets for the upcoming maj or

drilling program directed at identifying potential new discoveries in close proximity to the known Mur ray

Brook Deposit.

About the Murray Brook Project

The Murray Brook Project consists of three (3) dist inct contiguous areas that cover more than 18 kilom eters

of the favorable rocks that host the operating Cari bou Mine (Trevali Mining Corp.), the Murray Brook

Deposit and the past operating Restigouche Mine (Tr evali Mining Corp.). From east to west, the project

comprises the Murray Brook East Property (4925), th e Murray Brook Mining Lease (# 252) and the Murray

Brook West Property (7846) (refer to website).

The Murray Brook East and Murray Brook West Propert ies have been subject to various degrees of

exploration and share the same potential of increas ing the mineral resources defined at the Murray Bro ok

Deposit. The Company has defined several future priority targets on these properties.

The Murray Brook deposit has a currently defined me asured and indicated mineral resources of 5.28 million

tonnes averaging 5.24% zinc, 1.80% lead, 0.46% copp er, 68.9 g/t silver and 0.65 g/t gold . The core of

the mineral resource occurs in the West Zone which is 200 meters wide, extending from surface to 300

meters vertical and the true thickness of the massive sulphide body varies from 75 meters to 100 meters. The

East Zone (Copper-Gold) is 100 meters wide, also ex tending from surface to 300 vertical meters and is

mainly mineralized with gold and copper. On Februar y 20 th 2017, a NI 43-101 report was accepted and filed

on SEDAR.
