Playfair Mining Announces Private Placement

Playfair Mining is pleased to announce that it is proceeding with a non-brokered private

placement of up to 10 million common shares at $0.0 5 per share for gross proceeds of

up to $500,000.

The proceeds will be used for further exploration, including drilling, of its Ox Mountain

project in the Republic of Ireland, and for general working capital purposes.

Completion of the private placement is subject to acceptance by the TSX Venture

Exchange. All securities issued pursuant to the private placement will be subject to

resale restrictions under applicable securities legislation and the rules of the TSX

Venture Exchange.
