Vancouver, B.C., January 21 , 2013: Pure Energy Minerals Limited (“Pure Energy”) (TSX-V: PE) announces that it has staked 56 new 40 acres blocks (the "New Claims") and has expanded its Alkali Flats claims on its Nevada lithium brine project, to substantially increase its land holdings in Nevada. Through its recent staking, Pure Energy now holds the rights to acquire 7,040 acres in the area near the Silver Peak plant located in the Clayton Valley. The Silver Peak plant is owned by Chemetall Foote Corporation, the only lithium brine producer in the United States.
