Drill Results Resource Estimates Exploration Programs

ANNOUNCEMENT

5 October 2026

KINIERO DRILLING DELIVERS HIGH-GRADE RESULTS AT GOBELE/JEAN

PDI Gold Limited (ASX:PDI, TSX:PDI) (“PDI Gold” or the “Company”) is pleased to provide an update on exploration drilling at the Kiniéro Gold Project in Guinea, West Africa, including high-grade results at depth beneath the Gobele and Jean deposits.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Kiniéro’s exploration strategy aims to sustain and extend mine life by targeting a combination of near-mine, low strip ratio oxide mineralisation, near-mine high-grade fresh mineralisation at depth and greenfields prospects.
  • Results in this announcement comprise 51 holes for 14,671m drilled at the Gobele and Jean deposits, primarily targeting high-grade mineralisation at depth.
  • Drilling intersected extensive alteration and sulphide mineralisation beneath the open pit oxide envelopes, highlighting the potential for a significant expansion of open-pit Mineral Resources and/or a maiden underground Mineral Resource. Best intercepts include:
    • 28.35m @ 5.87g/t Au from 155m in NEGDRCDD26-001;
    • 16m @ 7.55g/t Au from 144m and 7.1m @ 2.24g/t Au from 168m in NEGDDD26-005;
    • 28m @ 1.09g/t Au from 98m and 17m @ 2.42g/t Au from 388m in GRCDD26-001;
    • 12.8m @ 4.25g/t Au from 396.2m in JDD26-002;
    • 11m @ 3.99g/t Au from 185m in GDD26-004;
    • 15m @ 0.99g/t Au from 181m, 7.42m @ 1.95g/t Au from 217m and 18.8m @ 1.75g/t Au from 234m in GDD26-011;
    • 9m @ 1.15g/t Au from 458m in GDD26-013;
    • 8.5m @ 1.38g/t Au from 159m in GDD26-008;
    • 7m @ 3.13g/t Au from 82m in GRCDD26-004;
    • 4.8m @ 11.18g/t Au from 221.2m in JDD26-004.
  • Structural and lithological interpretation indicates that the veins are not discrete, continuous bodies. Instead, they form part of a larger, interconnected vein system, with the results supporting the continuity of mineralisation throughout the Gobele vein network.
  • Exploration has ramped up in recent months, with 7 diamond drill (“DD”) and 2 reverse circulation (“RC”) rigs currently operational at Kiniéro, and additional RC rigs being mobilised.
  • Increasing focus on near-mine, low strip ratio oxide opportunities (drilling programs underway or planned at Zone C, Banfara, West Balan, Farabana), whilst continuing to advance the Gobele and Jean depth extension drilling.
  • 2027 drilling campaign currently under development, planned to comprise approximately 1,800 holes for 140,000m to unlock further Mineral Resource upside and mine life extensions.

“We are extremely encouraged by initial results we are seeing from exploration drilling at Kiniéro. This program is fundamental to our strategy of increasing Mineral Resources and extending mine life at Kiniéro to further cement its status as a world-class, long-life gold operation.

“Initial drilling of deeper sulphide targets at Gobele and Jean has returned very positive results, confirming our geological models and highlighting the immense potential of this project.

“We are ramping up the drilling fleet to advance our exploration objectives, and we look forward to delivering further updates as we continue to unlock the full value of the Kiniéro district. Our commitment to systematic brownfields expansion and targeted greenfields exploration reflects our confidence in the project’s future and our dedication to extending its production profile for years to come.”

ABOUT THE KINIÉRO GOLD PROJECT

The Kiniéro Gold Project is located in Guinea within the Siguiri Basin, a Palaeoproterozoic segment of the Birimian Terrain in West Africa which hosts structurally controlled orogenic gold deposits within metavolcanic, metasedimentary, and granitoid rocks.

The region is recognised for its significant potential for long-life, districtscale operations.

Kiniéro is a cornerstone asset for PDI Gold. It encompasses a 470km² land package including the Kiniéro exploitation permits and Mansounia exploration permits.

Kiniéro hosts a recently updated Probable Ore Reserve of 55.6Mt at 0.99g/t for 1.8Moz of gold, Indicated Mineral Resource of 80.3Mt at 0.96g/t for 2.5Moz and Inferred Mineral Resource of 66.0Mt at 0.85g/t for 1.8Moz.1

A feasibility study completed by Robex Resources Inc. (“Robex”) prior to the merger with PDI Gold outlined average production of 139,000oz per annum over a mine life of 9 years.2 Figure 1: Kiniéro permits, deposits and targets

Kiniéro achieved first gold pour in December 2025 and commercial production in February 2026. The operation has performed strongly to-date, consistently exceeding nameplate capacity and is on-track to achieve 2026 guidance of 157,000-174,000oz gold poured and all-in sustaining costs of US$1,100-1,300/oz.

KINIÉRO EXPLORATION STRATEGY

There is potential to significantly increase Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves at Kiniéro and extend its mine life. PDI Gold’s district-scale exploration strategy combines near-mine brownfields expansion drilling with earlier-stage exploration drilling targeting greenfields prospects and new discoveries, providing opportunities for both near-term and longer-term value creation.

Prior to and during the construction phase at Kiniéro, exploration was constrained by funding, and drilling has progressively been ramping up from a single DD rig in September 2025 to a current drilling fleet of 7 DD and 2 RC rigs. Drilling during 2026 to-date has focused on:

  • Gobele cluster (including SGA, SGB, SGC, SGD, NEGD and Gobele Extension) and Jean: testing high-grade depth potential with the aim of significantly expanding open-pit Mineral Resources and/or defining a maiden underground Mineral Resource; and
  • Other oxide deposits/targets: commencement of near-mine brownfields expansion drilling programs. These programs are at an early stage and no results are reported in this announcement.

GOBELE CLUSTER AND JEAN EXPLORATION AND RESULTS

Diamond drilling at the Gobele cluster of deposits commenced in October 2025, primarily targeting deeper mineralisation beneath the existing open pits, from which oxide at high grades (>3g/t) was historically mined by the previous operator. This initial phase has focused on delineating extensions into transitional and fresh-rock sulphide mineralisation, both along strike and beneath the current Mineral Resources and pit designs. Limited shallow RC drilling has also been completed.

In parallel with the drilling, extensive geological studies and mapping have been undertaken to enhance the Company’s understanding of the timing and geological setting of the gold mineralisation. These studies indicate that gold mineralisation at Gobele and Jean is primarily focused into shoot-like zones of geological complexity, often at or near the intersections of reactivated faults and lithological contacts. This improved geological understanding is proving invaluable for targeted exploration.

Results from 51 holes for 14,671m drilled are included in this announcement. Drilling has identified extensions to existing mineralisation and several promising new zones of higher-grade sulphide and transitional mineralisation, particularly at depth. These results indicate the potential to increase open-pit Mineral Resources and/or define a maiden underground Mineral Resource, providing long-term mine life extension opportunities for Kiniéro.

Key significant intercepts are shown in the table below, the Gobele and Jean drill plan and selected cross sections as outlined in Figure 2 to Figure 5. Full details of all Gobele and Jean holes included in this announcement are shown in Appendix 1.

NEXT STEPS

Extensive drilling is planned for Kiniéro as the Company aims to unlock the full exploration potential of the district and support a long-term production profile.

Based on the positive results reported in this announcement, PDI Gold intends to conduct further drilling at depth at the Gobele cluster during 2026.

PDI Gold also plans to increase its focus on drilling of near-mine, low strip ratio oxide opportunities over the remainder of 2026.

These targets have been identified from a combination of historic drilling results, reinterpretation of geology and varying presence of artisanal gold workings. The targets are strategically located within trucking distance of the Kiniéro processing plant and on granted exploitation permits. Drilling programs are underway or planned at Zone C, Banfara, West Balan, Farabana, and should time permit, the Northern Targets (inclusive of Mankan, Heriko and Filon Bleu).

Figure 6: Near-mine deposits and targets

The initial focus is on delineating near-surface mineralisation, typically at less than 50m depth, with target grades greater than 0.3g/t of gold. A systematic 40m x 100m closing up to 30m x 50m gridbased RC program, supplemented by targeted DD drilling, aims to delineate Indicated Mineral Resources allowing for rapid conversion to Ore Reserves and potential incorporation into nearterm mine plans, plus additional Inferred Mineral Resources.

An extensive exploration program is also under development for 2027, which will continue to focus on both brownfields expansion drilling and greenfields exploration drilling. Near-surface, low strip ratio oxide mineralisation will continue to be a key priority, with drilling anticipated to expand into the Gobele cluster, Sabali North, the Sabali-Mansounia corridor, Kobane, Djikouromba and historical stockpiles/dumps/TSFs.

Deep drilling targeting high-grade sulphide mineralisation is planned to continue at the Gobele cluster and will expand to additional target areas.

Sterilisation drilling is also planned over selected areas to de-risk future mining infrastructure (including the proposed solar PV plant location).

The scientific and technical contents of this announcement have been verified and approved by Mr. Franck Bizouerne, General Manager Exploration of PDI Gold, and a European Geologist of the European Federation of Geologists (“EFG”). Mr. Bizouerne is a “Qualified Person” pursuant to National Instrument 43-101 – Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects and a “Competent Person” as defined in the 2012 Edition of the Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves (“JORC Code”). Mr. Bizouerne has sufficient experience relevant to the style of mineralisation and type of deposit under consideration and to the activity being undertaken to qualify as a Competent Person. Mr. Bizouerne consents to the inclusion in this announcement of the matters based on his information in the form and context in which they appear.

Sampling & Assaying – QA/QC and Data Verification

The exploration activities and drilling programmes associated with the new results presented in this disclosure were conducted under the technical supervision of Mr. Bizouerne, the Company's Internal Qualified Person. Mr. Bizouerne is regularly present on site and undertakes periodic site visits to directly oversee exploration activities, review field procedures and ensure that established drilling, geological logging and sampling protocols are properly implemented.

The QA/QC verification, review of analytical results and validation of the associated data were also undertaken by the Company's Internal Qualified Person, Mr. Bizouerne.

Mr. Bizouerne has verified the information disclosed for the Kiniéro exploration drill program at the Kiniéro Gold Project through multiple site visits, review of sampling, logging, and core handling procedures, and assessment of assay and QA/QC results. He has also reviewed supporting documentation, including drillhole locations, orientations, and significant assay interval calculations, to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the reported information.

All drilling, logging, sampling and sample preparation activities were undertaken using documented procedures consistent with generally accepted industry practices. These procedures were designed to maintain sample representativity, minimise contamination and preserve the integrity and traceability of the analytical data for geological interpretation and mineral resource estimation.

Reverse Circulation (“RC”) Drilling

RC drill samples were collected on a nominal one-metre downhole basis directly from the drilling cyclone and transferred into appropriately identified sample bags. Each bulk sample was passed through a riffle splitter and/or a three-tier riffle splitter to produce a representative analytical portion, with the remaining material retained as coarse reject.

Sample weights were routinely checked to monitor consistency and representativity, with analytical sample masses typically ranging from approximately 2 to 3 kg depending on drilling conditions and sample characteristics.

Particular care was taken during sample collection and handling to minimise the possibility of contamination. The cyclone, splitter and associated sampling equipment were routinely cleaned between samples. Sample identification, labelling and tracking were maintained throughout the field sampling, storage and dispatch processes.

RC sampling and field sample handling were conducted under the technical supervision of the Company's Internal Qualified Person, Mr. Bizouerne, who undertakes periodic reviews of field sampling practices, sample security and sample handling procedures.

All RC samples were securely packaged and transported under documented chain-of-custody procedures to the Bureau Veritas (“BV”) laboratory in Kankan, Guinea, where the samples underwent preparation. Following preparation at BV Kankan, the resulting pulps were securely transferred to the SGS laboratory in Bamako, Mali, for gold analysis.

Diamond Drilling (“DD”)

Diamond drill core was recovered using conventional diamond drilling methods and transported to the designated core logging and sampling facilities. Prior to sampling, the core was systematically examined and logged for lithology, alteration, mineralisation, structure, core recovery and other relevant geological characteristics.

Following completion of geological logging, the core was marked and sampled according to geological contacts and the observed distribution of mineralisation. Sampling was generally undertaken over regular intervals, while significant geological and mineralised boundaries were respected where appropriate.

Selected core intervals were cut longitudinally using a diamond saw. One half of the core was retained as a permanent geological record, while the other half was submitted for laboratory analysis. Appropriate care was taken during core cutting and sample selection to ensure that the submitted material remained representative of the original drill intersection.

Core cutting equipment and sampling work areas were routinely cleaned to reduce the risk of cross-contamination.

DD sampling activities were undertaken under the technical oversight of the Company's Internal Qualified Person, Mr. Bizouerne. Mr. Bizouerne periodically reviews geological logging, sample selection, core cutting, sampling intervals and sample handling procedures.

The selected DD samples were securely packaged and transported under documented chain-ofcustody procedures directly to the SGS laboratory in Bamako, Mali, where both sample preparation and gold analysis were completed.

Sample Preparation and Analytical Procedures

For both RC and DD samples, laboratory preparation was undertaken using standard preparation procedures comprising:

  • crushing to 2.0 mm, with a minimum of 85% passing;
  • splitting of the crushed material to obtain a representative 1 kg sub-sample; and
  • pulverisation of the analytical sub-sample prior to gold analysis.

For RC drilling, sample preparation was completed at Bureau Veritas laboratory in Kankan, Guinea. Following preparation, the resulting pulps were securely transported to SGS laboratory in Bamako, Mali, for analysis.

For DD drilling, the samples were submitted directly to SGS laboratory in Bamako, Mali, where sample preparation and analysis were undertaken.

Gold determinations were performed using a conventional 50 g fire assay method. The analytical procedure has a lower detection limit of 0.01 ppm Au, considered appropriate for the range of gold concentrations encountered on the property.

The sample preparation and analytical procedures were reviewed as part of the Company's technical and QA/QC review process. The Company's Internal Qualified Person, Mr. Bizouerne, considers the procedures applied appropriate for the sample types and the expected range of gold grades.

Quality Assurance / Quality Control

A systematic internal QA/QC programme was designed in accordance with industry best practices and implemented throughout the sampling and analytical process to monitor analytical accuracy and precision, identify potential contamination and assess the overall reliability of the analytical dataset.

The QA/QC programme incorporated the routine use of:

  • certified reference materials (CRMs or standards) for monitoring analytical accuracy;
  • blanks for monitoring possible contamination during sample preparation and analysis;
  • field duplicates for assessing sampling and splitting precision; and
  • pulp or laboratory duplicates, where appropriate, for evaluating analytical repeatability.

QA/QC materials were introduced into the sample stream at predetermined intervals and submitted together with routine exploration samples under comparable conditions.

Analytical batches were reviewed systematically against established QA/QC acceptance criteria. Any significant failures involving standards, blanks or duplicates were investigated and, where appropriate, corrective measures and re-analysis were undertaken before the affected data were incorporated into the final exploration database.

The QA/QC verification and review of analytical results were also undertaken by the Company's Internal Qualified Person, Mr. Bizouerne.

Mr. Bizouerne reviewed and approved the performance of certified reference materials, blanks and duplicates and assessed the accuracy, precision and overall reliability of the analytical results.

Independent Laboratory and Umpire Verification

No umpire sampling, check assays or independent secondary laboratory verification was undertaken for the new drilling results reported herein.

RC samples were prepared by Bureau Veritas in Kankan, Guinea, with the resulting pulps subsequently analysed by SGS in Bamako, Mali. DD samples were submitted directly to SGS Bamako for sample preparation and analysis.

The reliability of the analytical results was therefore assessed through the Company's internal QA/QC programme, including the monitoring and review of certified reference materials, blanks and duplicates.

The QA/QC results and analytical data were reviewed by Mr. Bizouerne, the Company’s Internal Qualified Person, who considers the procedures undertaken appropriate for assessing the reliability of the reported analytical results.

Data Verification

Verification of the analytical data generated from the new drilling programme was undertaken by appropriately qualified exploration personnel under the supervision of the Company's Internal Qualified Person, Mr. Bizouerne.

Data verification included checks of sample identification and intervals, reconciliation of laboratory certificates against database entries, review of QA/QC results, assessment of sample recovery and condition, and checks for consistency between geological logging, sampling and assay information.

Selected database entries were also compared with original laboratory reports and relevant field records as part of the validation process.

Sample condition records, recovery information and QA/QC results were reviewed to assess the representativity of the sampling and the reliability of the analytical dataset.

The routine insertion and monitoring of blanks, certified reference materials and duplicates provided additional controls over analytical accuracy, precision and potential contamination.

Mr. Bizouerne, Internal Qualified Person, reviewed the data verification procedures, QA/QC performance, database validation and selected supporting documentation and approved the analytical dataset for use in geological interpretation and reporting of the drilling results.

Historical Drilling

Drill intercepts generated by previous operators and included in this disclosure have been reproduced from information collected and reported by those previous operators.

Historical sampling, analytical and QA/QC procedures were reviewed to the extent that relevant supporting documentation was available. The Company has not independently re-assayed historical samples or pulps as part of the verification of the historical drilling results presented herein.

The Company reviewed the available historical drill databases, laboratory certificates, technical reports and other supporting documentation and considers the historical results sufficiently reliable for incorporation into the current geological interpretation.

As the historical samples have not been independently re-assayed by the Company, the historical analytical data remain subject to the limitations associated with the sampling, analytical and QA/QC procedures applied by the previous operators.

Historical drilling results are interpreted together with the Company's recent drilling results and current geological model when assessing mineralisation continuity and geological significance.

The available historical information and its integration into the current geological database and geological interpretation were reviewed by the Company's Internal Qualified Person, Mr.

Bizouerne.
