OPAWICA EXPLORATIONS INC. CLOSES FINANCING

Vancouver, B.C. – August 14, 201 8 – Opawica Explorations Inc. (the “Company”) (TSX.V: OPW)

announces that, further to its news release s of June 29 and August 10, 2018, the Company has closed a

private placement to raise gross proceeds of $150,000 (the “Offering”) through the sale of 3,000,000 units

priced at $0.05 (the “Units”). Each Unit consists of one c ommon share and one share purchase warrant

exercisable into one further common share at a price of $0.06 for a term of two years.

All securities issued in the private placement are subject to a hold period expiring December 15, 2018.

The proceeds from the Offering will be used for general working capital. A Pro Group Member

purchased 300,000 Units. No finder’s fees were paid on the Offering.
