MMI and VTEM Anomaly

Auramex Resource Corp. (the “Company”) announces strong Mobile Metal Ion (“MMI”) response ratios for gold ,silver, copper, zinc and lead within a 1300 by 400 metre VTEM anomaly located 10 kilometres south of the Red Cliff property that Decade Resources Ltd. and Mountain Boy Minerals Ltd. own jointly. The anomaly was originally interpreted to be a flat lying clay layer, however, the MMI ratios for gold, silver, copper, zinc and lead, shown in the table below, indicate a target worthy of being drill tested.

SGS Canada Inc. of Toronto did the MMI analysis. The Company’s geologist, Alex Walus, PGeo, took the seventeen samples at eight locations. The samples were taken at 10, 20 and 30 centimetre depths below the humus/soil contact where it was possible to do so. A map accompanies this news release and can be viewed on the Company’s website and at www.sedar.com. The map shows the sample locations A through E at 100 metre intervals from the eastern to the western edge of the anomaly. Locations G, H and I are 200 metres south of locations D, C and B respectively.

Notes:

1. Values of 0.1, 20, 790, 250 and 440 parts per billion (ppb) are the baseline values for gold, silver, copper, zinc and lead respectively, used in calculating response ratios shown in the table.

2. With MMI, response ratios are considered more significant than the actual ppb response values. For example, gold at location E-10 is 11 times greater than the baseline value of 0.1 ppb. Zinc at I-10 is 18.9 times greater than the baseline value of 250 ppb. Both these response ratios indicate locations of high metal concentration relative to the baseline values.

3. Location E on the western edge of the anomaly has the best response ratios for copper and gold. Locations A and I on the eastern side of the anomaly have the best zinc ratios. Location I is 200 metres south of location B.

4. The MMI ratios indicate the presence of metal values and are an additional tool for locating potential drill targets.
