analyzed by gravimetric analysis (ALS code of GRA21). 

A standard quality assurance and quality control (“QAQC”) proto col is employed to monitor the quality 

of sample preparation and analys is.  Standards of certified ref erence materials and blanks are inserted 

i n t o  t h e  n o r m a l  c o r e  s a m p l e  s e q u e n c e s  p r i o r  t o  s h i p p i n g  t o  t h e  l a b  a t  a  r a t i o  o f  2 0 : 1  ( i . e . ,  e v e r y  2 0  

samples contain at least one standard sample and one blank samp le).  In general, duplicate samples of 

coarse  rejects  at  a  ratio  of  20:1  are  sent  to  a  second  internati o n a l l y  a c c r e d i t e d  l a b  f o r  c h e c k  a n a l y s i s .   

The assay results of QAQC samples of standards and blanks do no t show any significant bias of analysis 

or contamination during sample preparation.
