Appoints Luka Capin as Interim CEO

Vancouver, BC – August 24, 2026 – Northern Lights Resources Corp. (CSE: NLR) (OTC:

NLRCF) (FSE: 0ZH0) (“Northern Lights” or the “Company”) announces the appointment of Mr.

Luka Capin, a Director of the Company, as Interim Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Capin will oversee the Company’s ongoing activities as Northern Lights continues its work at

the Pup Project and advances its Horetzky and Secret Pass projects.

“We have active work underway at Pup and continue to advance Horetzky and Secret Pass. I look

forward to working with the Board and our technical team as we continue moving these projects

forward,” said Mr. Capin.

The Company also announces that Guy Mahaffy has resigned as Chief Executive Officer for

personal reasons. The Board thanks Mr. Mahaffy for his contributions to the Company and wishes

him well.
