Northern Lion Closes Option Agreement to acquire Riverside Property

Vancouver, British Columbia: Northern Lion Gold Corp. (the “ Company”) reports that it has
completed the initial closing of the option agreement to acquire a 100% interest in the Riverside
property located approximately 20 kilometres east of Kamloops, British Columbia as announced
March 22, 2017 by issuing 400,000 common shares of the Company to the optionor, Andrew
Molnar. These shares are subject to a statutory hold period of four months and one day expiring
October 21, 2017.
The Company will now commence an initial work program on the Riverside property comprised
of property mapping, trenching and ground geophysics as recommended in the NI 43- 101
technical report on the Riverside property dated March 24, 2017 prepared by Derrick Strickland,
P. Geo., a copy of which will be filed under the Company’s profile on SEDAR.
Historic results from p revious exploration by Corona Corporation between 1988 and 1990 ,
including geological and sampling (rock and chip) programs and two reverse circulation drill
holes totalling 350.5 metres , indicate that the Riverside property is prospective for gold
mineralization.
