Surge Exploration Announces OTCQB Symbol Change to “SURJF”
Vancouver, BC – June 5, 2018 – Surge Exploration Inc. (the "Company" or “Surge”) (TSX‐V: SUR,
OTCQB:SURJF) announces that FINRA has approved a change of the Company’s stock symbol
trading on the OTC Markets. Effective today, the Company’s common shares now trade on the OTC
Markets under the symbol “SURJF” (OTCQB:SURJF)”. The previous trading symbol was CKVLD.
The new symbol “SURJF” has been chosen to reflect the Company’s continued transformation and
strategic direction with a focus on the key energy metals of cobalt, lithium and copper.

The Company has an option to earn an undivided 60% interest seven mineral tenure covering 2,418
hectares (5,972 acres) located approximately 80 km northeast of the town of Quesnel, BC and 20
km north of the historic gold mining towns of Wells and Barkerville.
