Northisle Announces Inclusion in Global Junior Gold Miners Index

Vancouver, B.C. – Northisle Copper and Gold Inc. (TSX-V: NCX, OTCQX: NTCPF) (“Northisle” or the “Company”) is

pleased to announce that it has been added to the MVIS Global Junior Gold Miners Index (“MVGDXJ”), the underlying

benchmark index for the VanEck Junior Gold Miners ETF ( “GDXJ”), pursuant to the MVGDXJ’s semi-annual review

and rebalancing. The rebalancing will be effective as of market close on September 18, 2026.

Sam Lee, President & CEO, commented “Northisle’s index inclusion represents another important milestone in the

Company’s evolution. We expect this event will further enhance Northisle’s market visibility and trading liquidity as

we continue to advance our dual focus on value through project development , and growth through exploration.

Importantly, inclusion in the GDXJ highlights Northisle’s substantial exposure to gold, while the Company retains its

significant exposure to copper.”

The GDXJ is a well recognized, widely followed exchange traded fund that provides investors with exposure to a

global portfolio of small and mid-cap miners involved primarily in the gold and silver mining industries.
