MONUMENTAL GOLD CORP. REPORTS ON SOIL SAMPLING FROM THE WEYMAN
PROJECT AND PROVIDES CORPORATE UPDATE
News Release - Vancouver, British Columbia – July 26, 2021: Monumental Gold Corp. (“Monumental Gold”
or the “Company”) (TSX-V: MGLD) is pleased to announce that all the results from the Weyman property
(located in the Kamloops and Nicola Mining Divisions, British Columbia) soil sampling program carried out in
May 2021 have been received from Bureau Veritas (Acme Labs) where the samples were subjected to a multi
element analysis. The work program consisted of 1 390 soil samples being collected for analysis. The most
notable result for copper had an assay value of 275 parts per million (ppm). In addition, three samples assayed
209, 131 and 128 ppm copper (Cu). The remaining soil values ranged to 50ppm Cu with the majority assaying
under 20 ppm.
The development of this recently completed program was based on the information generated by a geophysical
compilation and review of the data generated by an airborne magnetic survey carried out in 2020 plus previous
work that had been carried out on the property in previous years.
Todd Macdonald, CEO of the Company commented, “with the results in hand from our soil sampling program,
the Company is now in a better position to evaluate the Weyman project, and to review additional projects to
add to the Company’s portfolio.”
An assessment report detailing the results generated from the soil sampling program will be prepared and filed
with the B.C. Ministry of Energy, Mines and Low Carbon Innovation and will include recommendations for
further work on the Weyman property.
The Company is reviewing and assessing other mineral resource projects, however, there is no guarantee that the
Company enters into or completes a transaction to acquire another project.
QA/QC
All soil samples were prepared and analyzed at Bureau Veritas in Vancouver, B.C. , an independent certified
laboratory. Monumental Gold applies a thorough quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) program at the
Weyman property, which is compliant with industry best practices. Blanks (analytical and method), duplicates
and standard reference materials inserted in the sequences of client samples provide a measure of background
noise, accuracy and precision. For rock and drill core, QA/QC protocol incorporates a granite or quartz sample-
prep blank(s) carried through all stages of preparation and analysis as the first sample(s) in the job. Typically an
analytical batch will be comprised of 34 -36 client samples, a pulp duplicate to monitor analytical precision, a -
10 mesh reject duplicate to monitor sub-sampling variation (rock and drill core), a reagent blank to measure
background and an aliquot of Certified Reference Material (CRM) or Inhouse Reference Material to monitor
accuracy. In the absence of suitable CRMs, In-house Reference Materials are prepared and certified against
internationally certified reference materials such as CANMET and USGS standards where possible. Using these
inserted quality control samples each analytical batch and completed work program is rigorously reviewed and
validated prior to release. The Qualified Person and Monumental Gold are not aware of any sampling, recovery,
or other factors that could materially affect the accuracy or reliability of the data referred to herein.
