MERIDIAN ANNOUNCES BOARD CHANGE
LONDON, October 15, 2019 /CNW/ - Meridian Mining SE (TSXV: MNO) (“Meridian” or the “Company”)
today announced that Mr. John Sabine tendered his resignation as Non-Executive Chairman and is
stepping down from the Board of Directors of the Company. The Board has accepted his decision.
In response to these developments, the Board of Directors has appointed current independent director
Mr. Charles Riopel as its new Non-Executive Chairman. These changes are effective immediately.
Mr. Sabine stepped into the Chairman’s role in May of 2018 to lead the Company through a period of
corporate and operational changes that will define Meridian’s future. Mr. John Sabine’s experience and
leadership during this period was greatly appreciated by the Board.
