MELKIOR BEHEMOTH ZONE MISE A LA MASSE SURVEY

Timmins, Ontario. Melkior Resources Inc. (“ Melkior”) has completed a test Mise a la Masse
survey over portions of the Behemoth Zone on the Carscallen Pro ject, Timmins, Ontario. Three
different Input points were evalu ated over the test grid area: Whaleback Outcrop (9.5 g/t Au);
Jowsey 1946 trench; and the shallowest gold zone encountered in CAR-17-16 (17.50ppm gold over
0.30m @77.75m depth). The Mise a la Masse maps have been posted to the Melkior website
(http://www.melkior.com/gold-projects/carscallen-gold-project/carscallen-behemot-zone/).
Asymmetries in the electrical potential plots indicate that the current input zones are not isolated
but have preferred current/conductive channels. The results of the method test indicate that the Mise
a la Masse survey method could be used more extensively over the Behemoth Zone and elsewhere
on the Carscallen Project. Mise al la Masse testing could also be used to establish inter-connectivity
between conductive zones in adjacent drill holes.
The Mise al la Masse testing of the shallowest gold zone encoun tered in CAR-17-16 (17.50ppm
gold over 0.30m @77.75m depth) appears to indicate that the conductive zone extends to the north.
CAR-17-13 and CAR-17-14, both of which encountered the same gol d zone as CAR-17-16 are
located within the defined elevated zone of voltage potential o n the Mise a la Masse Map. The
continuation of the gold zone encountered in CAR-17-16 to the s outh is in question as decreasing
voltage potential appears more symmetrical in that direction. A structural offset could be
responsible for the apparent conductor termination. Historic maps indicate a VLF conductor is co-
incident with the gold zone and that this VLF conductor continu es 370m south to Highway 101.
This historic map also indicates that the VLF conductor extends 480m northwards and is co-incident
with a topographic discontinuity t hat has been demonstrated to be associated with a fault that
contains a gold bearing quartz vein by the latest drilling and analytical results.
The “Whaleback” gold showing discovered in 2017 is located in a low lying swampy area 200m
due west of CAR-17-13. The “Whaleback” gold showing returned assays up to 9.5 g/ton Au from
grab samples. Mineralization is hosted in a silicified cataclas tic zone in granite that hosts a multi-
episodic quartz vein (Az290, -70E) up to 30 cm wide. Drill hole CAR-17-13 undercut this surficial
gold bearing structure at a depth of about 200m. The mineraliz ation in the Whaleback outcrop is
at Az290 degree, this orientation is at odds with many other lo cal trend indicators. The 290 trend
however is consistent with the trend of AUMO gold zones located about 100m east of CAR-17-16
on Tahoe Canada claims. The Mise a la Masse survey input curren t directly into the gold bearing
2
zone of the Whaleback outcrop. The Mise a la Masse data for the Whaleback Outcrop survey
indicates potential continuity of the conductive zone to the no rtheast as well as to the east,
potentially linking into the AUMO system of gold zones. The Whaleback Outcrop is located about
200m WNW (Az290) from CAR-17-16.
“ MDI42A05SE00040 JOWSEY VEIN - 1946
Discovered before 1946, on the Jowsey Denton Gold Mines property, this discretionary
occurrence consists of a vein contained in a north-trending shear in quartz diorite. A 1 inch to 20
ft. trench plan in Timmins assessment file T-10 indicates that the vein yielded gold values up to
0.08 (units unknown) gold in a chip sample.”
The Jowsey 1946 showing is located about 270m NNE of the Whaleback outcrop, the current input
location was within a secondary structure between two sub-paral lel spaced faults about 30m apart
that generally trend north-south. These two faults are also sub parallel and less than 100m west of
to the northern extension of the reported historic VLF anomaly that further south is co-incident with
gold mineralization in CAR-17-13 (21.80 ppm gold over 1.6m), CA R-17-14 (31.65ppm gold over
1.6m), CAR-17-16 (17.50ppm gold over 0.30m)
The Mise a la Masse data suggests that the conductive gold bearing zone in the Jowsey 1946 trench
is connected via conductive host to the VLF anomaly/fault to the east and that the mineralization in
this VLF anomaly/fault extends to the north.
The Mise a la Masse test was c onducted with the three rotating input locations to better evaluate
the viability of the method with in the structural and mineralization setting of Carscallen. Rotating
the input current locat ion during the statio n readings and taki ng three readings at each station
provided a cost-effective way of acquiring sufficient data to interpret the method success.
The Mise a la Masse method appears to provide exploration guidance that could be used to help in
drill hole targeting on the Carscallen Project. There are several gold zones where drilling has been
conducted unsuccessfully or deferred due to lack of targeting information. These areas include the
1010 South, 1010 North, north end of the ZamZam Zone, south end of the ZamZam Zone, Wire
Gold, north end of the Jowsey Zone, Shenkman occurrence. All of these aforementioned areas could
potentially benefit from a focused Mise a la Masse survey to ge nerate additional exploration input
data.
Jim Deluce, CEO of Melkior remarks, “Melkior continues to advan ce its exploration plans while
endeavoring to minimizing drilling risk. If the Mise a la Masse survey method provides us with a
successful exploration targeting tool, enhancing our success, that is what we will do.”
