MELKIOR ACQUIRES CLAIMS IN HEMLO AREA

Timmins, Ontario. Melkior Resources Inc. (" Melkior ") is pleased to announce that it has staked

51 claim units totaling 2,016 acres in the Hemlo area, Ontario. The claims are located approximately

15 km northeast of the Hemlo Gold Mine currently operated by Barrick Gold Corporation. Melkior

is always searching for new opportunities and has added these claims to its inventory as a strategic

move due to renewed interest in the area by Golden Peak Minerals Inc. and Canadian Orebodies

Inc.

The Company will continue to focus on its Carscalle n Property in the Timmins area in. An

exploration plan for the Carscallen Property for 2017 will be posted on the Company’s website and

presented to shareholders at the Annual General Meeting on February 21, 2017 at the Ramada Hotel

in Timmins.
