Lux Metals Appoints Simon T. Hébert as Senior Geological Advisor

Vancouver, British Columbia, September 1st, 2026 – Lux Metals Corp. (TSXV: LXM) (the “Company”

or “ Lux”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon T. Hébert, a Professional Geologist

registered in Quebec , as Senior Geological Advisor to the Company, effective August 10, 2026 . Mr.

Hébert will report to Kim-Quyên Nguy ên, President and Chief Executive Officer, and will advise on

geological interpretation, target generation and drill planning.

The appointment adds senior in -province technical capacity as Lux is commencing its planned 4,500-

metre diamond drill program at La Grande, which is designed to test the down -plunge and along-strike

extensions of the Zone 32 gold system, infill portions of the known system, and evaluate extensional

targets along the shear corridor and the broader tonalite complex.

Mr. Hébert brings has spent more than 15 years exploring and working in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay

territory, Nunavik and the Northwest Territories, including senior technical roles with Virginia Mines Inc.

and Osisko Mining Inc. across a range of metallogenic projects, his appointment as Mining Director of

the Société de développement de la Baie -James (SDBJ) in 2019, his subsequent role as General

Manager of NQ Mining investment, and his current position as Vice President, Development at

Brunswick Exploration. He has led exploration programs from grassroots target generation through to

advanced drill planning and project development and brings deep regional relationships across the

James Bay mining sector. Mr. Hébert is President of the Board of Directors of the Quebec Mineral

Exploration Association. He is a registered P.Geo. as a member of the Ordre des Géologues du Quebec

since 2012 and holds a bachelor’s degree in geology from Université Laval.

Advisory Role and Compensation

Mr. Hébert will serve as a technical advisor to management and will not be an officer or director of the

Company. Mr. Hébert is entitled to receive stock options in part of is compensation in accordance with

the Company’s equity incentive plan and subject to the board of directors approval.

Incentive Grants

The Company announces that a total of 1,400,000 incentive stock options and 350,000 deferred share

units have been granted to newly appointed CEO and advisor and to directors and officers of the

Company pursuant to the Company’s Long -Term Incentive Plan. The options are exercisable for a

period of five years at a price of $0.20 per share and shall vest immediately.
