BlueBird Battery Metals Appoints New Interim President

Vancouver, British Columbia, March 1, 2019 – BlueBird Battery Metals Inc. (TSXV: BATT;

US:BBBMF) (the “ Company” or “ BlueBird”) is pleased to announce that Leigh Hughes,

currently a director of the Company, has been appointed Interim President. Mr. Hughes has been

instrumental in bringing the c urrent Australian landholdings to the Company. His extensive

experience in the Australian mineral exploration and financing sectors has been invaluable.

The Company also announces that Gary Nassif has resigned and Pr esident and director of the

Company. The Company thanks Mr. Nassif for his service on the past six months. Mr. Nassif

will remain as a consultant to the Company.
