LUNDIN GOLD ANNOUNCES CFO TRANSITION
Lundin Gold Inc. (TSX: LUG ; Nasdaq Stockholm: LUG ; OTCQX: LUGDF ) ("Lundin Gold" or the "Company")
announced today th at Christopher Kololian, Chief Financial Officer, will be departing the Company on August
15, 2024. Chester See, Lundin Gold’s Senior Vice President Finance, will assume the role of CFO.
Ron Hochstein, President and Chief Executive Officer of Lundin Gold stated, "On behalf of the Board of Directors
and Lundin Gold, I would like to thank Christopher for his executive leadership and contributions since joining
our management team. During C hristopher’s tenure, we successfully executed our debt reduction strategy,
including the recent buyout of the stream credit facility , which has positioned Lundin Gold as a debt free gold
producer. We have also focused our corporate development activities in parallel with our increased investment
into our near-mine exploration program, which is showing potential for an exciting organic pipeline within the
Fruta del Norte district. I am pleased to welcome Chester into his new role as CFO. Having worked with Chester
since the acquisition of Fruta del Norte in 2014, he brings a wealth of experience to this position. We anticipate
this will be a smooth transition and wish Christopher continued success with his future endeavors.”
Chester has over 18 years of finance and accounting experience, having served as interim CFO last year and
previously as Lundin Gold’s VP Finance. Chester has a long history with the Lundin Group of Companies. Prior to
Lundin Gold, Chester served as CFO to NGEx Resources Inc. and Financial Controller at Lucara Diamond Corp.
He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).
