Itafos Announces Successful Launch of New Semi-Specialty Fertilizer Product at Itafos Conda

ITAFOS ANNOUNCES SUCCESSFUL LAUNCH OF NEW SEMI-SPECIALTY FERTILIZER

PRODUCT AT ITAFOS CONDA

TORONTO, ON – September 17, 2019 – Itafos (TSX VENTURE: IFOS) (the “ Company”)

announced today that Itafos Conda has successfully launched the first product in its new line of

microcronutrient enhanced compound products following the recen t completion of initial

production and sales of monoammonium phosphate enhanced with sulfur.

“The new semi-specialty fertilizer product further diversifies Itafos Conda’s product offerings to

better serve our customers and improve our margin profile. The team at Itafos Conda did an

incredible job to achieve our goal of getting this new product from concept to market during Q3

 Itafos Mantaro – a large phosphate mine project located in Jun in, Peru; and

 Itafos Araxá – a vertically integrated rare earth elements and niobium mine and extraction

plant project located in Minas Gerais, Brazil.
