Tatmar Appoints New Director

Tatmar Ventures Inc. (the “Company” or “Tatmar”) is pleased to announce that C. Victor Chevillon, M.Sc., C.P.G., has joined the Board of Directors. Mr. Chevillon has worked for 40 years in exploration, both as an employee of major mining companies and as an independent consultant gaining experience in a wide array of deposit types including Carlin type, low sulphidation, and high sulphidation gold systems in Nevada.

Mr. Chevillon is currently Vice President of Exploration and a director of Levon Resources Ltd., a company that conducts exploration in Nevada, Mexico and British Columbia. Mr. Chevillon’s extensive exploration experience and industry contacts enhance Tatmar’s existing exploration team.

The Company has granted incentive stock options to Mr. Chevillon to purchase up to 100,000 common shares at a price of $0.48 per share for a five year period, pursuant to its Stock Option Plan.
