Harvest GOLD Initiates Program to Establish Drill Targets at Tibiti Project IN Suriname
HARVEST GOLD INITIATES PROGRAM TO ESTABLISH DRILL TARGETS
AT TIBITI PROJECT IN SURINAME
Vancouver, B.C. , April 27, 2017 - Harvest Gold Corporation (TSX.V: HVG) (the
“Company” or “ Harvest Gold ”) is pleased to announce that it has now started a program t o
develop drill targets at Tibiti, its flagship gold property in Suriname. The program consists of a
data review, including the modelling of existing geophysical data, sampling, auger drilling and
trenching. The budget for the program will be approximately $135,000, which incorporates the
logistical costs of maintaining the camp during the program. It is expected to last 6 weeks.
Harvest Gold President and CEO Rick Mark states: “It has been over four years since Canasur’s
last work at Tibiti , so we are exci ted to get back on the ground with a specific focus to establish
drill targets. Our Suriname based geologist Dennis La Point will oversee the program for Harvest
Gold. Road access to Tabiti has been significantly improved recently, making the trip from the
capital city of Paramaribo less than three hour s, which l owers our costs and time requir ed for
access, so we are taking advantage of that now.”
The exploration program will consist of three steps:
1. A 3D interpretation of the existing Terraquest geophysical survey. The modelling process is
an excellent low cost supplement to developing new targets
2. A pre-trenching evaluation of the status of the concession and camp and current small scale
mining. The primary focus is to prepare logistics for the program and s urvey the possible
sites for new trenches . Sites will then be determined based on auger drilling results and prior
trenching.
3. Using the information from Steps 1 an d 2, conduct new trenching focusing on the best areas
of auger anomalies and the 3D geophysics interpretation.
