Redstar Gold Announces Management Changes

March 7, 2018: Redstar Gold Corp. (TSX.V: RGC, US: RGCTF, FRA: RGG) ("Redstar" or

the "Company") today announces that Peter Ball will step down as President and Chief

Executive Officer of Redstar Gold effective immediately. Mr. Ball will remain involved in the

Company as a member of Redstar’s board of directors due to his strong commitment to the

Company’s Unga Gold Project and to ensure seemless continuity. The Board of Directors has

appointed Jacques Vaillancourt, Redstar’s Chairman , as Interim CEO and inititated a search for

a new CEO. On behalf of the Board, we would like to thank Peter for his tireless enthusiasm,

effort, and teamwork.

Mineral Deposit Associates (MDA) are currently working to complete a Technical Report

whithin the next few months. This report, as defined by the National Instrument 43-101, will

focus on Redstar’s Unga project located in the Aleutian Islands in Alaska.

Anchorage landing on a one mile long paved airstrip and a deep-water port on neighboring Popof

Island, and a moderate climate noting it resides at the 55th degree latitude and next to tidewater.

In addition, Redstar owns approximately 18% of NV Gold Corp. (TSXV: NVX). Redstar also

owns 30% of the Newman Todd Gold Project, in Red Lake, Ontario, Canada.
