ABOUT EAST GEORGIE

The East Georgie polymetallic property consists of 69 active and good-standing mineral claims totalling 10,840 hectres (ha) and is located in the Skeena Mining District in the Golden Triangle, British Columbia, Canada.

There are ten Minfile Showings on the East Georgie Property. Persuader, Tis, Jo, Black Knight, Pedro Georgia, Rhyolite, Section Ridge, Rhyolite Ridge, Ashwood, and Moly Bowl Showings.

Persuader Showing

The Persuader showing consists of a north-striking stockwork and silicified zone cropping out over an area measuring 5-10 metres wide and 20 metres long. The entire showing is surrounded by overburden, and its extent may be considerably greater than its surface expression. The showing contains semi-massive sulphide pods or lenses dominated by sphalerite with subordinate disseminated chalcopyrite, pyrite and pyrrhotite, hosted within a zone of quartz stringer and stockwork veins in silicified volcaniclastic rocks of the Lower-Middle Jurassic Hazelton Group. Grab samples from the showing produced consistently high values of gold, silver, copper and zinc. Sample 474853 analysed 7.22 grams per tonne gold, 52.7 g/t Ag, 0.965% Cu and 6.67% Zinc (Lehtinen, J, and Lewis, P. (2007).

Tis Showing

The Tis showing area contains polished outcrop exposed by retreat of the glacier, with a strongly gossanous zone measuring several hundreds of metres in extent. Underlying rocks include mixed lithic andesitic breccias, quartzite, argillite, and minor limestone intruded by narrow lamprophyre dikes proximal to a granodiorite. These strata are part of the Lower to Middle Jurassic Hazelton Group. Much of the showing area contains a strong mylonitic, northwest striking foliation. The showing consists of silicified and brecciated corridors up to 15 metres wide enveloped by an extensive hornfels, wollastonite, actinolite skarn assemblage. Within these corridors, 1-5 % pyrite, pyrrhotite, and arsenopyrite occur as disseminations and as aggregates in quartz veins. Actinolite is pervasive being best developed along fractured faces in association with massive epidote, chlorite and strong silicification. The most intensely developed hornfelsed rock results in an intensely foliated fabric of actinolite/biotite laminations. At the north end of the showing, andesitic lapilli tuffs are in contact with granodiorite; the contact is in part silicified.

In 1990, work included 18 separate rock saw cut channel samples across the exposed outcrop and sampled in 1.0 metre intervals. The weighted average of the 103 metres of channels represented by this sampling is 0.528 g/t Au, with the highest 1.0 metre interval producing 8.39 g/t Au, and an isolated grab sample returning 22.2 g/t Au with 11.59% As. In 1993, the showing was re examined and sampling yielded 2.03 grams per tonne gold (Lehtinen, and Lewis, 2007).

Jo Showing

The Jo showing is underlain by north trending Hazelton Group andesitic tuffs and flows intruded by granodiorite dikes and possibly sills. The rocks have been locally subjected to strong shearing movements and are generally altered to a chloritic foliated rock. Two sets of lineaments strike 340⁰ and 010⁰ with steep dips east and west.

Mineralization consists of pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, magnetite and minor bornite within shear zones, sometimes silicified, near granodiorite dikes. Chlorite and epidote alteration extends up to 2 metres into the wallrock. Carbonate and sericite are also evident. Quartz veining occurs in some zones with associated sulphide mineralization.

A northwest trending schistose shear zone 1.21 metres wide is exposed over a strike length of 28 metres. Grab samples of the sulphide rich zone assayed up to 1.91 g/t Au, 48.67 g/t Ag and 22.6 % Cu (Kruchkowski, and Cremonese, 1983).

Black Knight Showing

The Black Knight property is underlain by an assemblage of epiclastic rocks of the Hazelton Group intruded by massive granodiorite and related dikes of the Coast Plutonic Complex. The epiclastic rocks have been locally subjected to strong shearing movements and are generally altered to a chloritic foliated rock.

Mineralization appears to be related to a shear zone where a quartz vein 1.32 metres wide has been developed by limited historic underground work and open-cuts. The quartz vein is mineralized with galena, sphalerite, pyrite and chalcopyrite. A grab sample of nearly solid galena and sphalerite with little gangue assayed 43 % Pb, 28% Zn and 562.19 g/t Ag (Flewin 1906). In 1910, work consisted of 84 metres of underground work and a large number of opencut and prospect shafts.

Rhyolite Showing

The Rhyolite showing occurs in a 40 by 400 metre zone of silicified rhyodacite and consists of small pods, up to 20 centimetres by 2 metres, of massive pyrrhotite that is concentrated near the upper contact with argillite. Host rocks are part of the Lower Middle Jurassic Hazelton Group. The pods are parallel to bedding that is developed at a strike of 350⁰ with a steep easterly dip; in one pod 10% sphalerite was observed. A rock sample (89953) analysed 6.42% Zn and 109.4 g/t Ag (Visagie 1990).

In 1990, Tenajon Resources Corp. conducted geological mapping and rock sampling which resulted in the discovery of the Tis and Rhyolite showings (Visagie 1990).

Section Ridge Showing

The Section Ridge is in a basal basalt package is conformably overlain by a marine basinal facies black clastic sediment sequence characterized by a lower turbiditic sequence including graded sandstone and siltstone members, above which lies a well laminated, thinly bedded black carbonaceous mudstone sequence. The clastic sequence was drill intersected with an apparent thickness of 200-300 metres with bedding attitudes ranging from 40⁰ to 70⁰. The rocks contain 1-6% laminated syngenetic pyrite pyrrhotite with local traces of sphalerite and chalcopyrite. Overlying this clastic sequence is a rhyolite flow and tuff package. Up to 5 % pyrrhotite - pyrite with local traces of sphalerite occurs in veinlets, as fracture fillings, and in auto breccia matrix. All three anomalous intersections identified in drillhole PR-03-01 are spatially related to rhyolite auto breccias. A 6.0 metre anomalous interval from 209.8 to 215.5 metres includes 1.5 metres of 0.09 % Zn, 0.17% As, and 0.16 g/t Au (Hanson, D J, 2003).

At Section Ridge, an extensive package of strongly altered bimodal submarine volcanic and associated clastic rocks occurs near the footwall contact of the rhyolite which caps the main clastic section. The altered rocks host the Nadine vein, a newly discovered, 10 to 30 cm thick quartz chlorite pyrrhotite sphalerite galena chalcopyrite vein which yielded up to 19 g/t Au, 250 g/t Ag, 10 % Zn and 1% Pb (Greig, 2001). The area of the altered rock also coincides closely with airborne and ground geophysical electromagnetic conductors.

Rhyolite Ridge Showing

In the Rhyolite Ridge showing area, the target was a zinc rich volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) target containing stratigraphically conformable airborne electromagnetic (EM) geophysical targets. On surface, mudstone lithologies near the upper portion of the section analysed 1000- 4000 parts per million zinc from soil and rock samples. Drillhole RR02-01 intersected fracture filling and veined sphalerite in the upper rhyolite sequence at 5.5 to 7.0 metres which yielded 0.21% zinc over 1.5 metres true thickness (Kuran, 2002): The uppermost mudstone in hole RR02-01 yielded 0.16% zinc over 1 metre. This corresponds to the surface samples at the up-dip projection which contained 0.24% Zn (Kuran, 2002): In 2002, hole RRO2 01 from Rhyolite Ridge contained the highest average silver values at an average of 1.56 grams per tonne silver over 18.5 metres true thickness from 282.3 to 290.3 metres (Kuran,2002).

Ashwood Showing

The Ashwood Showing area is underlain by interbedded volcanics and sediments of the Lower Middle Jurassic Hazelton Group. Andesite, diorite and quartz feldspar porphyry dikes intrude the volcano sedimentary sequence. The volcanic rocks consist of ash tuff, lapilli tuff and andesitic to dacitic agglomerate. Volcanic conglomerate and breccias occur locally. Feldspar porphyry flows were also observed. Sediments consist of dark grey to black, foliated argillite and siliceous siltstone. A number of significant fault structures have tilted the lithologies and probably caused some offset.

The predominant style of mineralization in the Ashwood zone consists of disseminations, lenses or possibly beds of semi massive polymetallic sulphides consisting of pyrite, sphalerite with minor galena and chalcopyrite. The mineralization generally occurs parallel to bedding in a greywacke siltstone argillite sequence. Individual lenses of mineralization vary from 30 to 40 centimetres wide and trend along strike for up to 5 metres. Several of the lenses can occur across stratigraphic intervals of several metres. A grab sample of mineralization at the Ashwood zone analysed 0.10 % Cu, 1.69 % Zn, 0.88 % Pb, 0.4 g/t Au and 65.4 g/t Ag (Todoruk and Weekes 1994).

Moly Bowl Showing

The Moly Bowl showing is located at the headwaters of a tributary of the East Georgie River, directly south of Mount Brown, about 20 kilometres south of Stewart. Area geology indicates that the showing is underlain by volcanic and volcaniclastic strata of the Lower to Middle Jurassic Hazelton Group.

In 2006, prospecting in creek drainages discovered float with quartz stringer veins hosting molybdenite within the veins and in the adjacent host rock. Narrow quartz veins discovered in situ are commonly less than 15 centimetres wide and contain spotty molybdenite, pyrrhotite and pyrite. These veins occur within intermediate composition volcaniclastic rocks, strike roughly north, dip moderately to shallowly to the east, and are parallel to and within 100 metres of the contact with a Tertiary granodiorite to granite pluton. Alteration, vein intensity, and mineralization all rapidly diminish away from the intrusive contact. Silt samples from the Moly Bowl area also returned high tungsten and bismuth values, which are common indicator elements of intrusion related molybdenum and gold mineralization. A select rock sample (336738) of a 5-centimetre-wide quartz vein mineralized with patchy molybdenite (3 5 per cent) hosted in a very strong gossan analysed 5160 parts per million molybdenum (Assessment Report 28961).

Pedro Georgia Showing

The Pedro Georgia occurrence is located at the confluence of Koris Creek and Georgie River, east of Portland Canal and 17 kilometres south of Stewart.

The Pedro Georgia property is underlain by an assemblage of sheared epiclastic rocks (lapilli tuffs) and andesitic flows of the Hazelton Group intruded by massive granodiorite and related dikes of the Hyder Pluton. The epiclastic rocks consist of angular and unsorted andesitic fragments within either a fine-grained sandstone or tuff matrix. The rocks have been locally subjected to strong shearing movements (150-degree trend with west dips) and are generally altered to a chloritic foliated rock. Calcite and epidote stringers are common. Several fault zones are evident, the most prominent, striking 340 degrees and dipping 35 degrees south, is located along Koris Creek. This pyritic fault zone is up to 6 metres wide and consists of weakly silicified volcanic rock with fragments of altered granodiorite. Sulphide bearing quartz veins are associated with northwest trending shears or fracture zones within Hazelton Group rocks near granodiorite intrusive rocks. The shear zones are generally occupied by sericite to chloritic schists.

An adit follows a narrow sulphide bearing quartz vein striking 137 degrees and dipping 65 degrees north to vertical at the confluence of Koris Creek and Georgie River. This vein represents part of the Pedro Georgia workings and varies from 1 to 40 centimetres wide. Mineralization consists of variably coarsely crystalline galena, coarse sphalerite, pyrite, minor chalcopyrite and arsenopyrite. Chlorite and calcite occur along the shear zone. Grab samples of this vein assayed up to 0.20 gram per tonne gold and 300.97 grams per tonne silver (Assessment Report 13350).

Several adits have been developed on nearby mineralized quartz veins, some of which range to 3 metres in width. Recent exploration has re discovered an upper and lower adit developed on a narrow shear zone containing short discontinuous quartz lenses 1 to 2 metres long and 0.5 metre wide. Sparse chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite and pyrite are evident. Grab samples of mineralized quartz vein material assayed up to 1.09 grams per tonne gold and 188.88 grams per tonne silver (Assessment Report 17705).
