NORRLAND ANNOUNCES PROPOSED NAME CHANGE

Norrland Gold Corporation ("Norrland" or "the Company", TSX-V: NORR, Frankfurt

Exchange: 8VC) announces that, subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval, it intends

to proceed with a name change to Great Plains Metals Corp.

Aidan Bishop, Director, commented:
