GLOBAL ATOMIC STRENGTHENS BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Toronto, ON, June 29 , 2020: Global Atomic Corporation (“Global Atomic” or the “Company”; TSX: GLO;
Frankfurt: G12; OTCQX: GLATF) is pleased to announce the ap pointment of Ms. Trace Arlaud, M .Eng., effective
immediately.
Ms. Arlaud is an expert in mining, geology, geotechnical engineering, mining engineering and project
management with 27 years of industry experience. She has reporte d and presented her work to corporate and
private Boards in Australia, Russia, Canada, Europe, Kazakhstan, China, Africa and the United States.
Currently CEO of underground mining specialist, IMB Inc., she previously held lead engineering roles with several
engineering and project implementation consultants including JDS Energy and Mining Inc., Hatch Associates Inc.
and McIntosh Engineering (Stantec). Prior to that she was Chief Engineer at PT Freeport in Indonesia, and held
engineering roles at WMC Resources Ltd. and Normandy Ltd. both of Australia. Educated in Victoria, Australia,
Ms. Arlaud has a Masters of Mining Engineering from the University of Ballarat and an Honours BSc from La
Trobe University.

with extensive world-wide mining experience. She brings a diverse set of skills and work history to complement
the strength of our Board. Her technical expertise in underground mining will provide beneficial guidance to our
operations team as we design and build the Phase I Mine Plan at the Dasa Project.”
In joining Global Atomic, Ms. Arlaud commented, “ I am honoured to be joining Global Atomics’ Board of
Directors and work with a very accomplished team of mine builders. The potential to be realized at Dasa is
enormous. The management team have done an exemplary job of moving this project forward in a difficult
market to the point of application for a Mining Permit. Niger has had impressive success in uranium extraction
and it will be exciting to be part of Global Atomics’ chapter of that story.”
Upon her appointment to the Board of Directors, the Company has granted 300,000 stock options to Trace
Arlaud. The stock options are exercisable at $0.50 for a period of five years and vest over a three-year period.

bal Atomics’ Base Metals Division holds a 49% interest in the Befesa Silvermet Turkey, S.L. (“BST”) Joint
Venture, which operates a new, state of the art processing facility, located in Iskenderun, Turkey. The plant
recovers zinc from Electric Arc Furnace Dust (“EAFD”) to produce a high- grade zinc oxide concentrate which is
sold to zinc smelters around the world. The Company’s joint venture partner, Befesa Zinc S.A.U. (“Befesa”) listed
on the Frankfurt exchange under ‘BFSA’), holds a 51% interest in and is the operator of the BST Joint Venture.
Befesa is a market leader in EAFD recycling, with approximately 50% of the European EAFD market and facilities
located throughout Europe and Asia.
