District Intersects 30.4 m of Continuous

Intense Sulphide Mineralization at the

Tomtebo Property

Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - November 1, 2021) -

District Metals Corp. (TSXV:

DMX) (FSE: DFPP); ("District" or the "Company")

is pleased to provide a second update on its

Phase II drill program currently underway at its high grade polymetallic Tomtebo Property located in the

Bergslagen Mining District in south-central Sweden.

District commenced the 5,000 m Phase II program with two drill rigs in operation at the Tomtebo

Property on October 7, 2021 (see news release

here

). To date, a total of 2,021 m has been drilled in six

holes (TOM21-023A/B to -028). Drill holes TOM21-026 to -028 are discussed in this news release, and

these drill core samples will be sent to ALS Geochemistry shortly with results expected after the first

three holes (TOM21-023A/B to -025).

Highlights:

Wide and high grade polymetallic mineralization encountered:

Hole TOM21-028 intersected

30.4 m of continuous intense sulphide mineralization

(143.6 to 174.0 m) including

13.55 m

of impregnation to semi-massive sulphides

(143.6 to 157.15 m), and

16.85 m of massive

sulphides

(157.15 to 174.0 m) at the Steffenburgs zone (Figure 1).

Continuity of mineralization:

Hole TOM21-028 was drilled

60 m up plunge from TOM21-025

(previously reported

here

), which returned

11.0 m of continuous massive sulphide

mineralization

from 211.4 to 222.4 m.

The massive sulphides intersected by hole

TOM21-001

(8.2 m at 20.94% ZnEq

1

from 65.3 to 73.5 m)

appears to be a separate and parallel massive

sulphide lens (Figure 2).

Follow up holes:

Hole TOM21-027 was drilled approximately 80 m down plunge of the 11.0 m

massive sulphide intercept from TOM21-025 and is interpreted to have clipped the northwest

outside edge of the massive sulphide lens (Figure 2).

Further step out holes are being considered.

Garrett Ainsworth, CEO of District, commented: "We are delighted to report that hole TOM21-028 has

cut through the strongest and widest interval of massive sulphide mineralization on the Tomtebo Property

to date.

Hole TOM21-027 intersected several intervals of stringer-style sulphide mineralization, which is

interpreted as the northwest outside edge of the plunging massive sulphide lenses encountered by holes

TOM21-001, -025 and -028.

Our second drill rig has been testing the Gårdsgruvans zone where hole

TOM21-026 has encountered encouraging alteration with narrow copper sulphide mineralization that

indicates the mineralized system continues at depth."

Drill Hole Summaries

TOM21-026 (Gårdsgruvans zone):

Hole TOM21-026 was drilled at an angled orientation (-58° dip) to the east-southeast (110° azimuth). It

was designed to step out 70 m down dip from multiple stacked copper-gold feeder zones encountered

in hole TOM21-017.

After 6.8 m of overburden, the hole intersected weakly to moderately altered (biotite, cordierite,

andalusite, muscovite) felsic volcanic rocks to 56.7 m that was underlain by weakly biotite altered felsic

volcanic rock with pyrite (1-5%) and pyrrhotite (0-0.1%) as disseminations and stringers to 70.7 m.

Moderate to strongly altered (biotite, cordierite, muscovite) felsic volcanic rocks persist from 70.7 to

244.0 m, and are intruded by a mafic dyke from 244.0 to 252.0 m.

Moderate to strongly altered felsic

volcanic rocks continue from 252.0 to 380.7 m with copper sulphide veinlets at 290 m and a copper

sulphide vein from 323.0 to 323.4 m.

A moderately to strongly silicified felsic volcanic rock with cross

cutting dykes was observed from 380.7 to the end of hole depth at 459.0 m.

TOM21-027 (Steffenburgs zone):

Hole TOM21-027 was drilled at an angled orientation (-62° dip) to the northeast (35° azimuth). It was

designed to step out 80 m down plunge of the 11.0 m massive sulphide intercept (211.4 to 222.4 m)

from TOM21-025.

After 12.0 m of overburden, the hole intersected moderately altered (muscovite, biotite, cordierite) felsic

volcanic rock with trace pyrite to 62.0 m, which was followed by strongly to intensely altered (biotite,

cordierite, anthophyllite) felsic rock with polymetallic sulphide stringers/veinlets (63.8 to 64.4 m)

becoming less altered from 80.0 m to 128.0 m.

A porphyritic mafic dyke known as a marker unit cuts the

felsic rocks from 128.0 to 133.0 m.

Moderately to intensely altered felsic volcanic rocks persist from

133.0 to 293.0 m where polymetallic sulphides were observed from 192.0 to 204.0 m as stringers, 270.0

to 271.0 as stringers, and 276.5 to 276.6 m as a veinlet.

Several mafic dykes with trace stringer pyrite

cutting through moderately altered felsic volcanic rocks were observed from 293.0 to the end of hole

depth at 312.0 m.

TOM21-028 (Steffenburgs zone):

Hole TOM21-028 was drilled at an angled orientation (-50° dip) to the northeast (52° azimuth). It was

designed infill the 118 m gap between TOM21-001 and -025, which both encountered significant

intervals of massive sulphide mineralization.

After 20.0 m of overburden, the hole intersected moderately altered felsic volcanic rocks with trace pyrite

to 89.0 m.

A porphyritic mafic dyke known as a marker unit cuts the felsic rocks from 89.0 to 92.7 m.

Moderately to strongly altered felsic rock with increasing pyrite, pyrrhotite and magnetite content was

intersected between 92.7 to 143.6 m.

Intensely altered felsic rock with increase in polymetallic sulphide

content to impregnation, veins/stringers, and semi-massive was encountered from 143.6 to 157.15 m.

Massive sulphides (sphalerite, galena, pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite) were intersected from 157.15 to

174.0 m. This high grade and very dense mineralized intercept is underlain by moderately altered felsic

volcanic rocks with occasional meter-scale mafic dykes from 174.0 m to the end of hole depth at 218.6

m.

Hole TOM21-028 represents the strongest and most extensive mineralization intersected at

the historic Tomtebo Mine to date.

All scientific and technical information in this news release has been prepared by, or approved by

Garrett Ainsworth, PGeo, President and CEO of the Company.

Mr. Ainsworth is a qualified person for

the purposes of National Instrument 43-101 -

Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects.

The drill core reported in this news release was logged and prepared at the District Metals AB core

facility in Säter, Sweden before submittal to ALS Geochemistry in Malå, Sweden where the drill core is

cut, bagged, and prepared for analysis.

Sample pulps were sent to ALS Geochemistry in Ireland (an

accredited mineral analysis laboratory) for analysis. Samples were analyzed using a multi-element ultra

trace method combining a four-acid digestion with ICP-MS analytical package ("ME-MS61"). Over limit

sample values were re-assayed for: (1) values of copper >1%; (2) values of zinc >1%; (3) values of lead

>1%; and (4) values of silver >100 g/t using the high-grade material ICP-AES analytical package ("ME-

OG62").

Additional over limit sample values were re-assayed for: (1) values of zinc >30%; (2) values of

lead >20% using the high precision analysis of base metal ores AAS analytical package ("Zn, Pb-

AAORE").

Gold, platinum, and palladium were analyzed using the 30 g lead fire assay with ICP-AES

finish analytical package ("PGM-ICP23"). Certified standards, blanks, and duplicates were inserted into

the sample shipment to ensure integrity of the assay process. Selected samples were chosen for

duplicate assay from the coarse reject and pulps of the original sample. No QA/QC issues were noted

with the results reported.

Some of the data disclosed in this news release is related to historical drilling results. District has not

undertaken any independent investigation of the sampling, nor has it independently analyzed the results

of the historical exploration work in order to verify the results. District considers these historical drill

results relevant as the Company is using this data as a guide to plan exploration programs. The

Company's current and future exploration work includes verification of the historical data through drilling.

Mr. Ainsworth has not verified any of the information regarding any of the properties or projects referred

to herein other than the Tomtebo Property. Mineralization on any other properties referred to herein is not

necessarily indicative of mineralization on the Tomtebo Property.
