Decade Granted an Option to Acquire 100% Interest in Starpower Claim
Stewart, BC – Decade Resources Ltd. (the “Company”) is pleased to announce it has
entered into an option agreement with Malcolm Bell and Associates Ltd. (the "Optionor")
whereby the Company has been granted an exclusive option to acquire a 100% interest
in the Starpower Claim, situated in the Omineca Mining Division, British Columbia.
Under the terms of the option agreement, the Company will issue up to 2,700,000
common shares and pay $150,000 to the Optionor in stages. Upon exercise of the
option, the Optionor shall be entitled to a 2.5% net smelter return royalty, and after the
sixth anniversary the Company shall make advance royalty payments of $50,000 per
year, until such time as payments equaling $2,500,000 has been paid to the Optoinor,
at which point the royalty shall be extinguished. The Company may also purchase the
royalty from the Optionor at any time for $2,500,000, less any advance royalty
payments.
The acquisition remains subject to approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
Ed Kruchkowski, P. Geo., a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101, is
