CENTURION MINERALS ENGAGES MAISON PLACEMENTS FOR $5 MILLION BROKERED PRIVATE PLACEMENT
Vancouver, B.C., April 26, 2010. Centurion Minerals Ltd. (CTN: TSX-V) (“Centurion”, “the Company”) is pleased to announce that it has engaged Maison Placements Canada Inc. to act as lead underwriter in a private placement of up to 5,000,000 Units priced at $1.00 for total gross proceeds of up to $5,000,000. Each Unit will consist of one common share and one half warrant. Each whole warrant will be exercisable for one common share at $1.30 for a period of eighteen months following the closing.
Proceeds from this financing will be used for exploration and drilling programs on the Company’s properties, due diligence of further potential projects, and for general working capital purposes. The offering is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
Centurion’s geological team; augmented and headed by an additional independent consulting exploration geologist Mr. Dylan Jeffriess, P.Geo, has commenced initial reconnaissance work at the Company’s Northern Sumatra properties and are currently compiling and confirming available historical data that will lead to a comprehensive exploration plan to be carried out in the near future. Mr. Jeffriess has over 12 years of mineral exploration experience in epithermal gold and porphyry gold/copper deposits in the Australasia region as well as in Latin America, China and Sweden. He has held a number of exploration and operational positions for companies such as Goldfields Australasia Pty Ltd, Minera Goldfields, and Rio Tinto Exploration Peru.
