CENTURION APPOINTS DR. DENNIS LAPOINT AS PRESIDENT AND DIRECTOR

Vancouver, B.C., April 01 2026 – CENTURION MINERALS LTD. (TSX-V: CTN) (“Centurion” or the “Company”)

is pleased to announce that Dr. Dennis LaPoint, Ph.D., P.Geo has been appointed as President and a member

of the Company’s Board of Directors.

Dr. LaPoint brings over 26 years of experience working in Suriname, where he led a geological team that was

responsible for the discovery of the Merian Mine, now owned and operated by Newmont Corporation.

Additionally, as Regional Exploration Manager for Cambior/Iamgold, Dr. LaPoint played a significant role in

expanding and identifying mineral resources beyond the boundaries of the Rosebel, Suriname mine

concession (now owned and operated by Zijin).

He has authored numerous NI 43 -101 technical reports related to projects in Suriname, demonstrating his

expertise and compliance with Canadian reporting standards. In addition to his technical contributions, Dr.

LaPoint has provided advisory and management services for a variety of stakeholders, including private

investors, concession holders, junior mining companies, and the state mining company, further supporting

the successful development of mineral projects in the region. In Guyana, as VP Exploration for Omai Gold

Mines, he developed the exploration program that is currently leading to positive mineral resource

developments. He was most recently Executive Vice President of Exploration and Business Development

for Sranan Gold and was directly responsi ble for sourcing the exploration projects that Sranan currently

holds.

He has previously acted as a director for other Canadian listed companies. In North Carolina, he was

appointed by the Governor of the State to serve on the Board that licenses Geologists and also serves on the

National Organization of State Boards (ASBOG) on the Council of Examiners.
