Cogitore Resources Inc. Provides Update on Submission of Offer to Acquire Assets
TORONTO, ONTARIO, January 21, 2010 - Cogitore Resources Inc. (the “Company”) (WOO: TSX-V) provides an update on the status of its offer to acquire certain assets of Campbell Resources Inc. and MSV Resources 2007 Inc. (“Campbell/MSV”), as described in its press release dated December 11, 2009. Since the Company submitted its offer, the proceedings initiated by Campbell/MSV under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act have been discontinued and Pricewaterhouse Coopers Inc. (“PWC”) has been appointed by the Québec Superior Court as receiver for the assets of Campbell/MSV pursuant to section 243 of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.
The Company’s original offer has not been accepted. The Company is presently evaluating its options and has not yet decided whether it will be submitting a new offer.
